Lucy grew up in Maghull and started dancing at Hamilton School of Dance and Drama at the age of 3. Throughout her time at Hamilton, Lucy achieved a high level in all her graded exams including ballet (RAD) and Modern and Tap (ISTD).
Lucy discovered her love for Musical Theatre at age 10 which she pursued and eventually went on to study at SLP College in Leeds on the Professional Musical Theatre course.
Her talents were nurtured in college and she received many main comedic roles in her college musicals including Aunt Eller (Oklahoma), Fastrada (Pippin) and Sylvia (Bad Girls). She was also recognised for her talents in dance; she was featured dancer in Move It 2018 and featured tap soloist in the SLP summer show at the York Grand Opera House.
Lucy has recently graduated from SLP and is looking forward to sharing her experience and knowledge of the current industry with the students of Hamilton Dance.
Alongside her performing career, Lucy has her own Personal Training business which she runs from Unite Health and Fitness Gym in Ormskirk. Lucy’s education in fitness and anatomy is transferred through her dance teaching, allowing her to deliver safe and effective dance training to her pupils.
