Kerry Baratinsky –
Kerry studied Drama and English Language at Edge hill University, graduating in 2011. Since completing her degree, Kerry has actively performed in a variety of musicals and plays within the North West Region and worked within the TIE industry. Kerry went on to gain her QTS in 2016 and has worked in London as a Primary School Teacher for the last three years. Kerry is an outstanding practitioner and it is her love of theatre, education and working with young children that has led her to achieve an exceptional teaching journey to become a highly successful Lead Coordinator for MAST/Gifted and Talented. In addition to her teaching, Kerry has worked collaboratively with the Performing Arts Leads in school in order to achieve Platinum in the Arts Mark.
Kerry has now returned to her home in the North West in order to continue to work with young children in the world of theatre. Since her return, Kerry is involved in both performing and directing theatre around the North West. She has recently auditioned for the role of Jane Eyre in a play adaptation of the classic Bronte novel and was successful upon gaining this challenging, ambitious role. She believes that theatre allows children to grow in self – confidence and is the key to making life long memories in their learning journey. Kerry is ambitious, driven and intuitive; qualities that inspire young children to exceed! Kerry hopes to pass on her passion, dedication and commitment of theatre to the young children of today, in order to provide them with the drive and enthusiasm to become successful in the arts.
